UNRULY | Not Made Polite

Something in this piece refuses to behave.
Not fully legible.
Not entirely human.

When I first looked at it, I saw something close to half a monstrous face.
Not literal. Not planned. One side almost recognizable, the rest out of reach.

The thought came quickly: Am I a monster?
Not as fear. More like recognition.

UNRULY follows its own irregular logic: awake, asymmetrical, exact on its own terms.
The silver keeps the trace of heat, pressure, and hand without being made polite.

There are not many cold stones in this collection.
Here, the chrysocolla had to be there: a cooler force, not to soften the piece,
but to sharpen its balance.
