I wanted to work with a form that could remain together
without becoming closed,
something able to hold itself
without losing its breath.

The bands do not fuse into one another.
Each follows its own path
while remaining within the same tension.
Separate, yes.
Scattered, no.

The structure keeps its air.
Firmness does not come from erasing space.
What is contained does not need to become compact in order to remain whole.

There is something deeply human in that.
Not in resolving completely,
but in holding what coexists within
without forcing it into a single thing.

It speaks to a way of holding oneself:
not through rigidity,
but through a restraint that still leaves room
for what continues pressing from within
