This piece is one of the most magnetic in the collection, and also one of the most adaptable.

I like that its base can already stand on its own. Close to the neck, it feels contained, almost quiet - without needing anything else

What descends from it moves differently.
The forms are fully organic, joined by fire alone. That matters to me.
They do not feel arranged into perfection.
They keep a kind of living irregularity, as if they had found each other there.

The amber seems to mark a center, but really it opens the piece and lets the rest continue.

The extra chain came at the end. Once it entered, the piece changed register. It can be hooked onto different points and drawn across the skin, so the necklace extends beyond itself and begins to contour the body. That gave it something more direct. More intentional. More willing to be felt.

That versatility is what gives the piece its character. It can remain close and restrained, or become more pronounced in the way it inhabits the body, without losing its balance.
